Product Introduction
We manufactured staple fiber PET nonwoven geotextile is processed in needle-punched way without chemical additive using 100% polyester fabrics. Polyester staple fibers are bonded by mechanically entangling the fibers with barbed needles.

Product Application
*Isolation layers between artificial fill, rockfill, or material yards and foundations, as well as between different frozen soil layers, also serving as filtration and reinforcement.
* Filter layers for the initial upstream slope of ash dams or tailings dams, and for drainage systems in backfill behind retaining walls.
* Geotextile isolation layers between roadbeds, airports, railway ballast, artificial rockfill, and foundations.
*Vertical or horizontal internal drainage within earth dams to dissipate pore water pressure.
* Drainage behind impermeable geomembranes in earth dams or levees, or beneath concrete lining.

Staple fabric geotextile Installation Specification
1)Base Layer Inspection
Inspect the base layer to ensure it is level and compact. Remove any foreign objects and treat the surface properly if necessary.
2)Trial Placement
Determine the geotextile dimensions based on site conditions and conduct a trial placement after accurate cutting.
3)Overlap Inspection
Check that the overlap width is appropriate, ensuring the joint is flat and tension is properly balanced.
4)Positioning & Bonding
Use a hot air gun to bond the overlapping sections of two geotextile sheets, maintaining proper spacing between bonding points.
5)Stitching Standards
When stitching the overlap, ensure the thread is straight and stitches are evenly spaced.
6)Post-Installation Inspection
After stitching, inspect the geotextile to confirm it is laid flat and free of defects.
7)Repair of Defects
If any non-compliant issues are found, perform immediate repairs.
FQA
Stitched Seams: Damaged stitched seams must be re-stitched, ensuring that any skipped stitches are properly repaired at the ends.
Holes & Tears: In all areas except rock slopes, holes or tears must be patched and stitched using a geotextile patch of the same material.
Landfill Baselines: If the length of a tear exceeds 10% of the roll width, the damaged section must be cut out, and the two remaining geotextile sections must be reconnected.
2.Things to note
Cutting Requirements
Geotextiles must only be cut using a geotextile hook knife. If cutting on-site, special protective measures must be taken to prevent unnecessary damage to other materials.
Underlayer Protection
During installation, all necessary precautions must be taken to avoid damaging the underlying material.
Debris Prevention
Ensure that rocks, excessive dust, moisture, or any other substances that may damage the geotextile, clog drainage channels/filters, or hinder proper connections do not enter beneath or within the geotextile.
Post-Installation Inspection
After installation, visually inspect all geotextile surfaces to identify and mark any damaged areas for repair. Verify that no foreign objects (e.g., broken needles) remain on the surface that could cause damage.
Seaming Regulations
Horizontal seams are generally prohibited on slopes—all seams must follow the slope’s contour without intersecting it, except for repair sections.
Stitching Standards
If seaming, the stitching thread must be of the same or higher quality as the geotextile and resistant to chemicals and UV radiation. The thread color must contrast with the geotextile for easy inspection.
Seam Protection During Installation
Pay special attention during stitching to prevent soil or gravel from the cover layer from penetrating the geotextile seams.
