Product Introduction
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) is a geosynthetic material which uses the high expansibility and low permeability of sodium bentonite to achieve waterproof effect.
Product Properties
1. High expansibility: sodium bentonite can absorb five times its own weight in water, and the volume can expand to more than 15-17 times the original.
2. Low permeability: The formation of a high-density diaphragm under water pressure, water permeability can reach 5×10^-11m/s, with strong waterproof performance.
3. Durability: As a natural inorganic material, sodium bentonite will not reduce performance due to aging or corrosion, and has long-term durability.
4. Environmental protection: harmless to the human body, friendly to the environment, is an environmentally friendly material.
5. Easy construction: no need to heat or paste, easy and fast construction.

1. Municipal engineering: Waterproofing of underground works such as subways, tunnels and basements.
2. Landfill: waterproof layer used as base treatment and capping.
