Bentonite Geosynthetic Clay Liner The Ultimate Geosynthetic Material for Seepage Prevention
Product Introduction
Geosynthetics Clay Liner(abbreviated as GCL) is a geosynthetic material specifically designed for preventing seepage. It mainly consists of high-swelling sodium-based bentonite filled between specially designed composite geotechnical fabrics and non-woven fabric, which are formed through needling. When exposed to water, this material can form a uniform, high-density gelatinous waterproof layer, effectively preventing water seepage.
Product Properties
1. High expansibility: sodium bentonite can absorb five times its own weight in water, and the volume can expand to more than 15-17 times the original.
2. Low permeability: The formation of a high-density diaphragm under water pressure, water permeability can reach 5×10^-11m/s, with strong waterproof performance.
3. Durability: As a natural inorganic material, sodium bentonite will not reduce performance due to aging or corrosion, and has long-term durability.
4. Environmental protection: harmless to the human body, friendly to the environment, is an environmentally friendly material.
5. Easy construction: no need to heat or paste, easy and fast construction.
