Long-Lasting Solution Black and Green HDPE Smooth Geomembrane s Excellent Aging and UV Resistance
Product Introduction
The black and green double-color HDPE geomembrane is a type of geomembrane made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) raw materials with two different color masterbatches added, which are then co-extruded and blown into a geomembrane. Typically, one side of this geomembrane is black, and the other side is green, hence the name black and green double-color HDPE geomembrane.
Product Properties
The black and green dual-color HDPE geomembrane has excellent chemical stability, capable of resisting the corrosion of more than 80 kinds of strong acid and alkali chemical media. It is suitable for environments such as sewage treatment, chemical reaction pools, and waste landfills.
This geotechnical membrane has excellent resistance to aging, ultraviolet radiation, and decomposition, allowing for long-term use in open environments. The material's lifespan can reach 50-70 years, providing a reliable material guarantee for environmental impermeability.
The black and green dual-color HDPE geomembrane has excellent puncture resistance, capable of withstanding the invasion of most plant root systems.
It has good mechanical strength, with a breaking tensile strength of 28 MPa and a high breaking elongation rate of up to 700%, capable of withstanding significant physical stress.
Although new technologies have been adopted to improve the impermeability effect, its production process is more scientific and faster, resulting in a product cost that is actually lower than traditional waterproof materials. Generally, using HDPE impervious membrane in engineering can save about 50% of costs.
This geomembrane has high flexibility, with various specifications and laying forms to meet the impermeability requirements of different projects. It adopts hot-melt welding technology, which provides high seam strength, convenient and fast construction.
The black and green dual-color HDPE geomembrane is made of non-toxic and environmentally friendly materials. Its impermeable principle is based on ordinary physical changes and does not produce any harmful substances. It is an ideal choice for environmental protection, aquaculture, and drinking water pools.
Product Application
The black and green dual-color HDPE geomembrane is mainly used for covering the surface of landfills in the middle stage, covering slopes, and covering waste disposal sites. During the laying process, the green side faces up and the black side faces down. The green side is required to have anti-aging, antioxidant, and light stabilizer properties to ensure that the product can be used for more than five years under direct sunlight conditions. The black side mainly plays a role in preventing rainwater from infiltrating into the landfill, thereby increasing the service life and reducing the cost of leachate treatment.
